• It’s-N-The Male Boys Program joins summer basketball league!!
• RubyGirl launches in Chicago! WHOOPI…..it will be official on Saturday, September 11, 2010. We are embarking upon new territory and the vision is coming to pass, RubyGirl chapter in 10 cities. RubyGirl Chicago will be led by Melanie & Jessica, ladies with a passion to transform the lives of teen girls. They are excited and look forward to every opportunity that this endeavor will offer. Will we have an event where RubyGirl Detroit meets RubyGirl Chicago? What do you suggest? love to here your comments.

• Future Goals will be Rho Gamma Theta our new sorority for the graduates of the RubyGirl program 18-25. Somehow, we just can’t let go or is it that the girls can’t let go of RubyGirl. More news about this sorority coming forth. Stay tuned!

• RubyGirl partners with the I AM WOMAN EXPO which is a conference for women and now Teen Girls hosted by RubyGirl. We are excited for this new partnership that will open the door for bigger and better things for RubyGirl program.

• RubyGirl partners with Detroit City Councilman James Tate “Teen Pregancy Prevention Initiative” (TP2). 8 week program will be offered at Detroit International Academy (all girl school) and Frederick Douglas Male Academy starting Spring 2011.

• RubyGirls Founder & Director Michelle Day joins the Michigan Female Responsive Task Force with the State of Michigan Bureau of Juvenile Justice.
